If your photography studio isn’t performing as well as you’d like, try taking your social media marketing efforts to Facebook! With very little effort, almost no upfront cost and just a couple of minutes, you could have a fast and effective way to reach thousands of new clients. Learn how in the following article.

1. Don’t let the excitement over your page slow down. Commit to doing an update at least a few times a week. If you do not, your followers are going to feel forgotten and they probably will not follow you or your products as passionately. Once you set up a page, you have to be committed to its maintenance. 2. While you should try your best to stay in contact with users, do not post a steady stream of content that has no value. This will make people get the impression that you have nothing to offer. If you have nothing valuable to share at the moment, skip posting until you do.

3. Include your logo fitted to the correct size on your business page. Don’t change it too much as it is what your fans will associate with your brand, therefore highlighting your posts in their news feed. If you continually change it, they may become confused skip over your post.

4. One way to build the presence of your business on Facebook is through a brand page. A brand page, which is also called a fan page, is the same as an actual personal profile. However, one distinct difference is that fans are asked to join instead of friends. On your brand page, you can link to your Twitter and blog account. You can also post and collect content, have discussions and show user reviews.

5. Reward your loyal fans with Facebook events, special discounts and prizes. Give your fans a reason to interact with your page rather than being a passive follower. A contest with even an charity donation can generate discussion and inspire your fans to invite their friends and family to your Facebook page.

7. Never make the mistake of starting a Facebook page and then do nothing with it. It takes a lot of dedication to create a solid fan base on Facebook, so only begin a page if you expect to see it through. If it is more than you can handle, you should outsource the required updates.

8. When you name your page keep your main keywords in mind. For example for my photography business my main keywords are San Antonio head shot photographer and not much else. This is what I like to be found for and the market I go after. I include the same keyword phrase on my Facebook page just like I do on my blog. My keyword phrase is part of my post much of the time.

As you’ve read, Facebook can do a lot for any business! Reaching previously untapped markets can now be done for almost no upfront cost. Start putting these tips to work for your company.
